pre-fabricated wood homes

Boa tarde tudos. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with, or thoughts on pre-fab homes in Portugal. Near Caldas da Rainha would be a plus but I haven't found anything in the region. If PDM's (Alcobaça in my case) control what can or can't be built on our property, I've heard for example that if they won't allow us to build a concrete annex to serve as a extra living space for our family/other guests (not to rent), we could build "as many wood structures" as we want... True or false? In between? Thanks in advance if you have any info to share.
