are there any jobs

My family and I(2 kids) are living in NZ and am thinking of moving to Uruguay. We moved to NZ 4 years ago from S Africa.
I am a tradesman working here as an electrician and have worked as Fitter . I have also completed an tesol course . What i need to know is would there be any employment opportunities for my skills or would I be able to make an income from a small one man business. What kind of money would be needed to start a small business and which area would be suitable. Does anybody know of other South Africans or Angolan people living in Uruguay.
Any information on immigration etc will be appreciated.
