"The cost of living in Delaware is generally higher than the national average; however, it is still slightly lower than the average cost of living of many neighboring states. The average cost of renting a one bedroom apartment in Delaware is around $900 per month and a two bedroom apartment is around $1100 per month. Eating dinner at a moderately priced restaurant in Delaware typically costs around $20 - $30 per person," said one expat.
