"In Montana, the cost of living is generally very affordable compared to other states. Depending on location, renters in Montana can expect to pay between $650 to $1200 for a 1 bedroom apartment per month and between $750 to $1500 for a 2 bedroom apartment per month. Eating dinner at a moderately priced restaurant could cost around $12 to $18 per person," said one expat living in Montana.
