Prices for basic necessities such as food, transportation, and housing are generally lower than in other European countries. However, the cost of living can vary depending on the area and lifestyle. For example, rent in the capital city of Valletta is typically more expensive than in other parts of the country. Additionally, the cost of entertainment and leisure activities can be quite high, especially in the more touristy areas," remarked one in Malta.
