Cost of Living in Luanda, Angola

The cost of living in Angola is much lower than in the US, with basic necessities such as food, housing, and transportation costing significantly less. Additionally, the cost of entertainment and leisure activities is also much lower in Angola than in the US. As a result, living in Luanda can be a great way to save money," explained one expat living in Luanda.

"The cost of housing in Luanda is generally quite high. Renting an apartment in the city can cost anywhere from $1,000 to $3,000 per month, while buying a house can cost upwards of $200,000. Prices vary depending on the size and location of the property," said one expat in Luanda.

"The rental price for a nice 1 bedroom apartment in Luanda can range from around $1,000 to $2,000 per month, while a nice 2 bedroom apartment can range from around $1,500 to $3,000 per month," remarked one expat in Luanda.

"In Luanda, rental properties typically include a refrigerator, stove, oven, and washing machine. Other common appliances may include a microwave, dishwasher, and air conditioning unit. Depending on the property, some may also include a clothes dryer," said an expat in Luanda.
