What advice do you have for expats having a baby in Suva?

Answer this Question

We asked expat moms who gave birth in Suva about their experiences and advice they have for other moms to be. They said...

"It is important to research the medical facilities available in Suva before having a baby. Make sure to find a doctor or midwife that you trust and feel comfortable with. It is also important to be aware of the cultural norms and expectations in Fiji when it comes to childbirth and parenting. It is also a good idea to connect with other expat parents in the area to get advice and support. Finally, make sure to take time to relax and enjoy the experience of having a baby in Fiji," explained one expat living in Suva, Fiji.
