There are both public and private hospitals in Sai Kung, and the choice will depend on your budget and personal preferences. Fourthly, be aware that Hong Kong has a high C-section rate, especially in private hospitals. If you prefer a natural birth, discuss this with your doctor early on and make sure they support your decision. Fifthly, consider hiring a doula or birth coach to support you during labor and delivery. They can provide emotional support, help with pain management techniques, and advocate for your wishes with the medical staff. Sixthly, if you plan to return to work after the baby is born, start researching childcare options early.
