What do expats find most challenging?

Answer this Question

We asked expats and digital nomads what they find the most challenging about the local culture in Dickenson Bay. They wrote...

"Expats in Dickenson Bay often find the slower pace of life challenging, as the local culture values a relaxed and unhurried lifestyle. The language barrier can also be a challenge, as while English is the official language, many locals speak Antiguan Creole. The island's infrastructure can also be a challenge, as it may not be as developed or reliable as what expats are used to in their home countries. Additionally, adjusting to the local cuisine, which is heavily based on seafood, can be difficult for some. Lastly, the high cost of living, particularly for imported goods, can be a significant challenge for expats," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Dickenson Bay, Antigua & Barbuda.
