What are the most challenging aspects of retiring in Copenhagen?
We asked retirees what they find the most challenging about retiring in Copenhagen. They wrote...
"One of the most challenging aspects of retiring in Copenhagen is the high cost of living. The cost of housing, food, and other necessities can be quite expensive, making it difficult to maintain a comfortable lifestyle. Additionally, the language barrier can be a challenge for those who are not fluent in Danish. The language is spoken by the majority of the population, so it is important to be able to communicate effectively. Finally, the weather in Copenhagen can be quite unpredictable, with cold winters and wet summers. This can make it difficult to plan outdoor activities and can be a challenge for those who are not used to the climate," wrote a member who made the move to Copenhagen, Denmark.
