"Shanghai is a vibrant and ever-evolving city that has seen a lot of development over the past few decades. For retirees, there is an abundance of things to do, enjoy and explore. For instance, there is a wealth of cultural attractions to explore. From the picturesque Yu Garden to the Shanghai Museum and the Shanghai Grand Theatre, retirees can find all sorts of fascinating sights and experiences. In addition, there is an abundance of recreation options for retirees. From world-class golf courses, to parks and nature reserves, to watersports along the beautiful Huangpu River, retirees can find many ways to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. For those who want something a bit more urban, there is plenty of nightlife in the city, with plenty of bars, pubs, and nightclubs. Finally, retirees are likely to find a robust expat community in Shanghai, so it's easy to find friends and companions with whom they can share the city's many attractions," wrote a member who made the move to Shanghai, China, China.
