Will I save money living in Kep?

Answer this Question

We asked expats if they save money living in Kep. They said...

"Yes, you will likely save money living in Kep compared to the United States. The cost of living in Cambodia is generally much lower than in the United States. This includes expenses such as housing, food, transportation, and healthcare. Rent and property prices are significantly cheaper in Kep than in most U.S. cities. Eating out at local restaurants or buying groceries to cook at home can also be done at a fraction of the cost. Public transportation, as well as personal transportation like taxis or motorbikes, is also much more affordable. Healthcare services are also less expensive, although it's important to note that the standard of care may not be as high as in the U.S. Therefore, while the overall cost of living is cheaper, it's essential to consider the differences in lifestyle and quality of services," said another expat in Cambodia.
