Is there a lot of crime in Tsim Sha Tsui?
We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...
"Tsim Sha Tsui, is generally considered a safe area with a relatively low crime rate. It is a popular tourist destination, known for its shopping, dining, and cultural attractions. However, like any urban area, it is not entirely free of crime. Petty crimes such as pickpocketing or bag snatching can occur, particularly in crowded areas. Scams targeting tourists are also reported occasionally. Violent crime is relatively rare, but it's always advisable for residents and visitors to remain vigilant and take basic safety precautions, especially at night. The local police force is generally efficient and responsive in dealing with reported incidents," remarked another expat who made the move to Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.
