However, it is essential to have a prescription from a local doctor or a translated prescription from your home country to purchase these medications. It is also a good idea to carry a copy of your prescription and a letter from your doctor explaining your medical condition and the medications you require, as some medications may be subject to local regulations," commented one expat who made the move to Batam, Indonesia.
