As a foreigner living in Qingdao, will I have access to public healthcare? What is it like?

Answer this Question

We asked expats in Qingdao if they have access to public healthcare in Qingdao. And, if they do have access, what is it like. They wrote...

"Yes, as a foreigner living in Qingdao, you will have access to public healthcare. The public healthcare system in Qingdao is generally of a high standard, with a wide range of services available. The hospitals are well-equipped and staffed with experienced medical professionals. In addition, the cost of medical care is relatively low compared to other countries. However, it is important to note that the language barrier can be an issue, as most medical staff do not speak English," remarked another expat who made the move to Qingdao, China.
