"Expats in Martinique often find it challenging to adjust to the slower pace of life and the relaxed attitude towards time. Additionally, the language barrier can be difficult to overcome, as French is the official language of the island. Furthermore, the cultural norms and expectations can be difficult to understand, as they are quite different from those of other countries. Finally, the cost of living in Martinique can be high, making it difficult for expats to find affordable housing and other necessities," remarked another expat in Martinique.
