"Healthcare services in Saint Lucia are provided by both public and private institutions. The public sector is managed by the Ministry of Health and Wellness, which is responsible for the provision of primary healthcare services, including preventive and curative care. Private healthcare services are provided by a number of private hospitals, clinics, and medical centers. The country also has a number of specialized medical centers, such as the St. Jude Hospital, which provides specialized care for cancer patients. In addition, there are a number of pharmacies and health centers that provide basic medical services. The government also provides free healthcare services to the elderly and those with low incomes," remarked another expat in Saint Lucia.
