Is there a lot of crime in Mongolia?
We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...
"Mongolia has a relatively low crime rate compared to other countries. However, there have been reports of petty theft, pickpocketing, and occasional violent crime in the larger cities. In rural areas, livestock theft is a common problem. In recent years, there has been an increase in drug-related crime, particularly in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Mongolia.
