"Petroleum development is the main industry here, with many of the expat jobs revolving around that," said another expat in Muscat, Oman.
"Foreigners often have jobs in Oman in a variety of fields, such as teaching, engineering, hospitality, healthcare, and construction. They may also work in the oil and gas industry, as well as in finance and banking. Additionally, many foreigners find employment in the tourism sector, working in hotels, restaurants, and other tourist-related businesses," wrote a member who made the move to Oman.
