When we asked members about emergency services in Switzerland, they wrote...

"Emergency services in Switzerland are highly efficient and reliable. In the event of an emergency, the Swiss emergency number is 112. This number is free of charge and can be called from any phone, including mobile phones. When calling 112, the operator will ask for the type of emergency and the location. An ambulance will then be dispatched to the scene. Ambulance services in Switzerland are provided by the Swiss Red Cross and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week," said another in Switzerland.
