Are common prescription medications available in Estonia?
When we asked expats in Estonia if common prescription medications are available in Estonia, they wrote...
"Prescription medications are available in Estonia, and they are regulated by the Estonian Health Board. Pharmacies in Estonia are required to carry a wide range of medications, including both generic and brand-name drugs. Most medications are available over the counter, but some require a prescription from a doctor. In addition, some medications may require special authorization from the Health Board. In general, the availability of prescription medications in Estonia is similar to that of other European countries," remarked another expat who made the move to Estonia.
