I am a single retired software management consultant, a US citizen and Indian by birth. I intend to explore the possibilities of relocating to either Belize, Costa Rica or Ecuador in near future. To keep myself occupied, I currently have a small business dealing in Indian ethnic handmade articles like, hand bags & fashion apparels & accessories.
I plan on traveling to Belize in the first week of January or so to explore various places and to see the likelihood of an opportunity to live in this beautiful country which has drawn me towards it. I am visiting Costa Rica before that.
I look forward to initiating any guidance communications with folks who may have some valuable inputs for me.
Moving to different country has its own challenges, so I have some Initial queries mentioned below:
1. I would like to start a small handicraft retail store to keep myself occupied.
2.. Initially I am more inclined to rent a residence before making any firm purchase commitments.
I look forward to participate actively in the expat community and this forum.
