Buying land or a home....and spiders

Hello. Whats the place place to look for land or a home in Belize? I've been using Realtor.com and belizerealestateMLS.com, also tried looking for classifieds and such, but I hear there are better places to look, but I don't know where, any advise?

Also, and this may sound a little odd, but are there big spiders in Belize? I read there are Brown Recluses, but I'm hoping they are mostly in the woody central Belize area?
