Just curious if anyone had thoughts on the possibility of Colombia becoming a BRICS member.

BRICS+: Colombia showed interest in joining BRICS earlier than expected, and Brazil promised to support its entry, as declared by the presidents of both countries in a joint statement.

During a meeting in Bogotá, Petro expressed Colombia's interest in joining BRICS as a full member as soon as possible, and Lula "welcomed this initiative and committed to promoting Colombia's candidacy," according to a document shared by the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
