Hi! Has anyone here moved from Brazil to the USA and managed to hang onto their Brazillian mobile phone number by porting it to a service similar to Google voice? My girlfriend currently has a mobile account with carrriers in both Brazil and the US, so it would be ideal for her to just have a US account and port her Brazilian phone number to some form of VoIP app like Skype, Google Voice or whichever provider makes the most sense in Brazil. While her tech skills may be a lot better than my Portuguese, it’s not really her forte so reasearching it isn’t really working, and since anything in English is just going to be geared for the US market it’s not really helpful. If anyone has any experience in this domain we’d love to hear from you!
