I just booked a flight and will leave Vienna on 11.11.
Since moving costs are enormous I will not even during Covid bring toilet paper.
But what is hard to get or rather expensive in Panama?
I read that tools are better moved. What about IT hardware (PCs, telecom, special stuff)?
Cloths?
Dishes,
Is it a good idea to bring a middle aged (2016 hybrid in my case) car?
When I brought my car from the US, I wasted 6k doing that (4k transport, 2k adapting to Euro standards). What a waste! I had sold it and bought one locally.
I doubt that furniture (except antiques and even then if you moved beach-wards - humidity) qualifies
A/C, buy locally or buy at your current country of residence and bring it with you?
Trampolin?
Sports equipment?
Kitchen machines?
Pans? I use induction cook-tops and the pans have to have an iron bottom or core to work.
exotic spices?
In short, would you list here what you are missing from your prior life elsewhere and you wished you had brought it with you?
And what you brought and found to have been a waste to pay for moving?
coming from Europe means with some electric appliances that are not self regulating that they won't work on 110V and you either have to buy a transformer (and waste energy through the transformation) or give those to Goodwill and buy them here or through eBay or amazon if they are expensive here,
