Changing Address with SEF versus just waiting until renewal appointment

I have moved out of my apartment in Lisbon which is the one registered with SEF and am now bouncing around airbnbs in Portugal (to find somewhere longer term that we would like to live) then I am going to travel for a couple months and be back in Portugal full time in April 2018. My 1st renewal expiration is July 11, 2018. Does anyone know the process or fees with not changing the address within 60 days of moving? We have not officially signed a long term lease yet and are trying out different areas of Portugal. My question is can I wait until my renewal appointment to show my new lease or should I make an appointment to change my address before my renewal appointment?
