For those using their US bank accounts

I have a question. Some people have suggested having our social security deposited into a US bank account and using an ATM to get cash for our bills. As far as I know we are going to rent our condo to our daughter so will have that address continue on the account, so when it is time for a new debit card I am supposing we have to have her FED EX or DHL it to us? Are those fairly reliable for getting documents? I just had to get a new Debit card because the chip stopped working and it made me think of the future.
