Moving to USA w/ a Parrot

(apologies if this comes up twice... disconnected on 1st attempt)

We are planning to move from Hampshire England to New Hampshire USA in the near future. We have horses which we will take with us. No problems there. However, we also have a feathered family member, an African Grey, with whom we do not wish to part. We are concerned that it appears 30 days quarantine may be required, which would be too stressful for him (and us). If you have experience moving from the UK to the USA with a parrot, we would like to hear details. Also, pointers to assistance. Thank you. KRB
