Best place to live in Abu Dhabi?

Hey guys, me and my husband will be moving to Abu Dhabi in the fall 2014 and we are looking for a nice place to stay in a good neighbourhood.

We have visited some apartments in the Sun and Sky towers and in the Gate Towers. We really loved Al Reem Island, because of the convenient shops etc. Also we find it an oasis outside the busy city centre.

What area would you recommend for a couple with no kids (yet) around 30 years old?
