In Ottawa there is plenty to do, from Clubs, Bars, Museums, Theaters, Sports etc... also there is almost always a festival going on...

In terms of religious, racial, economic and cultural diversity, are the people of this city or town diverse? Are they accepting of differences? Describe.

Ottawa, and Canada in general are very accepting for any religion and race it really does not matter up here...

What are the main industries in this city? What types of career opportunities commonly exist? How do most people find new jobs?

Most of the Jobs in Ottawa are with the Federal Government and the High Tech firms... Finding a JOb here usually involes checking the paper and just submitting resumes to corporations...

If a friend of yours was thinking of moving to this city or town from far away, what other advice would you give them.

Plan ahead and make sure you find a place to live BEFORE coming here, there is a major housing shortage in Ottawa as of Aug 23rd 2002...
