What visa and knowledge does an Englishman need to buy a condo in the PH

Hey guys, first off I’d like to introduce myself I’m Patrick from the UK, I am a house owner in the UK but was going to sell my house and downsize and also buy a cheap condo maybe a Pre-sale in the bgc taguig area, I was wondering does anyone know about any hidden fees and taxes from the UK and PH when buying a condo in Manila, and would I need a different visa than the normal 30 day one, is it a bad idea buying a condo out here or will it be a nightmare, any previous experience or advice I’d be grateful for, I’ve had enough of the bad weather and boring times, I miss the Philippines, I’d love to be able to make a living out there maybe flipping condos, that would be king, but am I dreaming here? Has anyone pulled it off? I dream of that James Bond overseas lifestyle, is there any special requirements I need? I’m pretty green any help appreciated. Expert Pat ;)
