Several before/after school activities (Spanish club, Chorus, strings, ...)

An ESOL-teacher helps the kids learning the English language. The Guidance Counselor helps them making new friends.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
Really a lot of parent involvement both thru volunteering work and social activities.
There is a PTA-organization.
