Moving to AU - Temporarily

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the public schools in the Sydney area. My husband will be working in the Fox Studios area for about 6 months and I have a 10 year old daughter. I would like to know a little about the neighborhoods in the area and the schools there. Also if they would be in walking distance, we won't have a car. Thanks!!!
