Hi, we are considering buying a property in Zlatia or Oriahovo in the Montana region. I am seeing it is a `project` for the next 2-3 years, carrying out modernisation etc., when we have time and money. I was thinking maybe working on one room at a time with plans for local builders to follow as we won`t be able to be on site. Both properties are really cheap with lots of land and I know there is going to be a lot of work involved. To get to the point is anyone familiar with any of these villages, do you think security would be a big issue whilst work is being carried out? We have never been to Bulgaria but have `holidayed` in Turkey for the last 5 years and I hope this isn`t offensive to BG`s but I would imagine rural BG to be similar to rural Turkey. Anyway I feel like I`m writing a book :-) so I`ll stop there and hope that some kind person can shed a bit of light!
