Moving to Jeddah

I'm Getting married in December and moving to Jeddah. My husband currently lives out there but not in any one of the expat compounds. I'm an irish muslim living in Dubai.

I'm 21 and would like some advice on what to expect from living in Saudi Arabia. I've heard lots of different feedback on various issues like what i can or cant do? what jobs i can apply for? and what to expect from my social life keeping in mind that we wont be living in a compound...

I'm also looking to further my education and was wondering what universities or institues might be available around jeddah to do so ?

what is the dress code on the street for an expat lady? and so forth....

Is there any material that i should be looking through to educate my knowledge on life out there?

Waiting......

Anxious
