Local Plus

Hello

I am a British citizen and work for a global multinational company on an expat assignment in a SE asian country which is soon to expire.
My company have offered me a Local Plus contract in S Korea where the allowences for school and housing are cut 50% every year until after 3 years there are no benefits. As my child has been at a British school he would have to go to an international school which I would have to pay for myself . I have been informed that if i dont take the offer i will disq
ualify myself from severence pay (i have been with the company 15 years)l

Do any members of the forum have any experience of such Local plus contracts and do they consider this to be acceptable employment practice? any advice is welcome
