Costa Rica vs Panama

Hi there,
I am looking into moving to one of these countries. My target date is 2015 (if not sooner). Can someone with experience please compare and contrast the 2 countries for me? It seems they are very similar but Panama is substationally cheaper. I am in the process of learning spanish and will be fluent with a buisness set up before I get there. What are some of the differences and what makes one better or worse then the other?

Thanks in advance
