EXTRANJERO MEANS FOREIGNER, THE REST NEEDS NO TRANSLATION
I never cease to be amazed by the fact that Americans will move to a foreign country, invest thousands of their possibly hard earned dollars and not bother to learn the language before they go. And then they cry bloody murder if they get taken advantage of. I mean let's get real, the same crooks exist everywhere in the world, take a little time to protect what you worked for or inherited by taking a language course, they are available online or in classes everywhere, especially Spanish.
You need to turn Caveat Emptor, (la riesgo del comprador) to
Caveat venditor, (la riesgo del vendedor).
