Plenty of job opportunities for English - French speaking people in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam

+ English/French teaching jobs: If you have a TESOL or CELTA + whatever degree, you can make 20 to 30 USD per hour. Besides teaching at English language centers, you can tutor children from wealthy families from district 7. To work in language centers, you should have a degree to go through the salary negotiation easily.

I don't know about French teaching jobs but it can be lesser than English teaching jobs. There is a growing number of people who want to be bilingual and trilingual in Vietnam because we want to work overseas. English- French can be a good combination since French and English words are nearly identical but different pronunciation.

+ Teaching at foreign invested universities: For people who don't have money to study abroad, obtaining a foreign granted degree with an affordable price can be a good option. Here there are many English or Australian or American invested universities that need native speakers who major in Business, IT, electrical engineering ... etc.

As far as I know, teaching at universities need master degree. For teaching English, bachelor degree is enough.

I will keep up to date new information about working in Vietnam. Feel free to contact me through email : [email protected]
