Entering Uzbekistan

I'll be entering Uzbekistan with my Telex number doc and passport for the entry visa pending my employer's work visa application upon arrival. Can anyone tell me whether a one-way flight ticket is acceptable to travel there albeit the formal Invitation letter? My inviter has assured me that it's permissible, but I want to be sure since I'm paying for the airfare. Thanks.
