Live on a Tropical Island

WE’RE RANDY ?? and TERI ??... two people who have found our paradise in the tropical Western Pacific, living out our retirement to the fullest.

We retired early and in 2013 we sold our home, packed it all up and moved to the Philippines. We built a home on the island of Samar and learned that our much desired utopia did not exist in a single location and 4 years later, we moved to Guam. Now we enjoy the commonality and difference that both locations offer. While curiosity is the key to unlocking life, pushing one's self to live outside their comfort zone softens expectations, and has helped us to embrace the great unknown. And the more we let our curiosity lead the way, the more we discover about ourselves and the world around us.

We still look to new adventures, and have come to understand that comfort and stability play an important role in any chosen lifestyle. Today, it's all about managing resources and health, and we’re always looking for new and better ways to do so.

Our journey is ever-evolving but our goal remains the same: To enjoy life to it's fullest... and as much as possible, just hanging out in the "Tropic Shade." ?

Formerly "Retired in Samar," we are now "Living in the Pacific." ?
