I'd like to try living abroad in South/Central America for a short period of time and see if this part of the world works for me..
As much as I would like to integrate with local community I'd love to be in touch with expats and have access to activities I'm familiar with and that make me happy: yoga, surfing, cafe live, good quality reataurants and interesting cultural live. I do speak Spanish but I;m not really fluent.
What would be the best place within the area to enjoy a relaxed stay, not too expensive, away from tourist traps but in the same time not too far from basic commodities of a western life? :)
