Making Friends in San Miguel de Allende

I am moving to San Miguel in mid-September. I'm a 63 year old single woman, very active. Already have riding at nearby equestrian center and Spanish lessons lined up and going to find a pottery studio...I will make friends eventually but wondering if anyone has specific advice about clubs or centers that would afford the ability to meet many people quickly. Food clubs? Activity clubs? Thank you!
