Elementary/High Schools in Latin America

Hi all! We are looking to move to Latin America with our 3 kids, aged 12, 10 & 6 and I've got a question about schools.
From my basic research, it looks like there are public schools which aren't that great and private schools that would break the bank.
What are our options as far as making sure the kids get a great education that wont cost an arm and a leg? We want the kids to learn Spanish but would prefer basic instruction to be in English.
The countries we're looking at are Costa Rica, Belize, Nicaragua, Mexico, Panama, Colombia and Ecuador.
