I am a retired teacher and am considering homeschooling my 10 year old grandson, using a distance learning program. I think International Schools are too expensive and might not be a good fit for a high functioning autistic boy with some savant abilities. That would mean his social life would be more difficult.
My experience with expats makes me optimistic about social life for me and my daughter. I don't know how things would work for my grandson.
