What are the pros and cons of living in Antigua & Barbuda?

Expats, digital nomads and retirees living in Antigua & Barbuda responded:

"Expats and digital nomads living in Antigua & Barbuda enjoy the warm climate and the laid-back atmosphere of the islands. The stunning beaches and the vibrant culture are also a major draw for many expats. Additionally, the cost of living is relatively low, making it an attractive destination for those looking to stretch their budget. On the downside, the infrastructure is not as developed as in other Caribbean countries, and the public transportation system is limited. What do expats find most challenging?

"Expats in Antigua & Barbuda often find the local culture to be quite different from what they are used to. The pace of life is slower and more relaxed than in many other countries, and the locals tend to be more laid-back and less focused on material possessions. Additionally, the local language, English Creole, can be difficult to understand for those who are not familiar with it. Furthermore, the local customs and traditions can be quite different from what expats are used to, and it can be difficult to adjust to the new way of life," explained one expat living in Antigua & Barbuda.
