There is a small but active expat community in Coral Coast, mostly made up of retirees from Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. They often gather for social events, and there are also opportunities to volunteer in local communities, which can be a great way to integrate and understand the Fijian culture. Cultural attractions are abundant in Coral Coast. The region is rich in history and tradition, with many villages offering tours and cultural performances. The Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park is a popular attraction, as is the Tavuni Hill Fort. There are also several traditional markets where retirees can buy fresh produce and local handicrafts.
