A nice 1 bedroom apartment in Algiers can cost anywhere from $400 to $600 per month, while a nice 2 bedroom apartment can cost from $600 to $800 per month. The cost of dinner at a moderately priced restaurant in Algiers is usually around $15 to $20 per person.

"The cost of living in Algiers is largely dependent on lifestyle. Housing costs tend to be higher than in other parts of Algeria, and the prices of basic goods are on the rise. Transport is generally cost-efficient, and food can vary in cost depending on where it is purchased. Overall, while it isn't considered one of the most expensive cities in Algeria, Algiers is not the cheapest either," remarked one expat in Algiers, Algeria.
