Is the cost of living in Sainte-Marie high?

We asked people how much they someone comfortably live on in Sainte-Marie, they wrote:

"The cost of living in Sainte-Marie is considered moderate. Rent for a one-bedroom apartment in the city center can be quite affordable, while outside the city center, it can be even cheaper. The cost of utilities such as electricity, heating, cooling, water, and garbage is also relatively low. Groceries in Sainte-Marie can be a bit expensive, with items such as milk, bread, rice, eggs, cheese, chicken, beef, fruits, and vegetables costing more than in some other countries. Eating out at an inexpensive restaurant is reasonably priced, while a three-course meal for two people at a mid-range restaurant can be more costly. Transportation costs in Sainte-Marie are also moderate. A one-way ticket on local transport is affordable, while a monthly pass can be a bit more expensive. Gasoline prices are high compared to many other countries. Healthcare in Sainte-Marie is of a high standard, but it can be expensive. Private health insurance is recommended for expats. In terms of leisure activities, a monthly gym membership is moderately priced, while cinema tickets are relatively cheap. Overall, while some aspects of living in Sainte-Marie, Martinique can be expensive, others are quite affordable, making it a moderately priced place to live," said one expat in Sainte-Marie.
